7. REFUND POLICY
7.1 Trial Period Refunds ($0.99)
Eligible for a full refund within 30 days of purchase if:
- First-time trial user
- No previous trial refunds on any account
- No terms of service violations

7.2 Regular Subscription Refunds
Not eligible for refunds except in these specific cases:

Documented downtime exceeding 24 consecutive hours. Not caused by scheduled maintenance or force majeure events.

- These conversion charges are separate from our service charges and are not controlled by Cerebrum.
Note: While we don't charge additional fees for currency conversion, your bank or card issuer may apply their own conversion fees or charges. Please check with your financial institution for details about their international transaction policies.
8. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
8.1 Ownership Rights

- Protected by international copyright laws.
- All trademarks and service marks are proprietary.
8.2 Licensed Content
Use of Cerebrum's content is granted under a personal, non-commercial license. This license is non-transferable and prohibits:

8.3 Prohibited Actions The following actions are strictly prohibited:
- Reverse engineering
- Content reproduction
- Removal of copyright notices
- Creation of derivative works

9. USER CONTENT AND RIGHTS
9.1 User Ownership
Users retain ownership of all content they submit, including profile information, test responses, and any custom content created. Your personal data remains your property.
9.2 License to Cerebrum
By submitting content, users grant Cerebrum a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, transferable license, with the right to sublicense, to use that content.

10. SERVICE LEVEL AGREEMENT (SLA)

- 97% annual uptime guarantee
- Excludes scheduled maintenance
- Subject to Force Majeure events (as defined in Section 1.5)
- Performance is continuously monitored
10.2 Change Categories
A. Standard Changes
- Feature updates

- Performance optimizations
- 15-day notice required
- Users will receive communication regarding upcoming changes
B. Emergency Changes
- Critical security updates
- Legal compliance requirements
- System stability issues
- Immediate implementation
- Notification provided after implementation
10.3 Maintenance Windows
- Scheduled maintenance: 24-hour notice provided
- Emergency maintenance: Immediate when necessary
- Maximum duration: 4 hours
- Timing: Scheduled during periods of low usage
10.4 Service Credits
Service credits are offered based on the following uptime percentages:
- 95-97% uptime: 3-day credit
- 90-95% uptime: 7-day credit
- Below 90% uptime: 14-day credit

However, our maximum aggregate liability for any claims arising from or related to our services is limited to the amount you paid for services during the twelve (12) months preceding the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory (contract, negligence, strict liability, etc.).

We are not liable for failures or delays resulting from Force Majeure events (as defined in Section 1.5).

14. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
